The Balance Badge is a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5.
Description[]
The Balance Badge is a badge with the shape of a modernized Taijitu, symbolizing the concept of Yin and Yang. As per normal flair standard, male characters wear it on their chest, while females wear it either on their skirt, or (in EBF4 only) on their hair if it is equipped in the third Flair slot.
The Balance Badge provides a small boost to several stats when worn, with specifics varying between games. As such, it makes for a useful "filler" Flair that can bolster the stats of any player with a spare Flair slot, although the "Medal" Flairs unlocked in endgame bonus dungeons can provide larger bonuses to specific stats.
In EBF4, the Balance Badge slightly increases Attack, Magic Attack, Defence, and Magic Defence. It has no resistances.
In EBF5, the Balance Badge initially boosts both offenses and Accuracy by very small amounts; when fully forged, it adds similarly small bonuses to HP, Evade, and both defenses. It slightly resists Holy and Dark, up to 30% at Level 3; in Equip Remix, it resists Fire and Water instead.

The Balance Badge is obtained as a quest reward from Yang in the Temple of Godcat, on the screen leading to Goldenbrick Resort Weapon shop's backdoor path.

The Balance Badge is found inside a chest in Lava Lake, one screen south of the Temple of Trials. The chest is on a small island of rock, guarded by a battle that appears as a Magma Hand; the Thermal Boots are required to reach the island.
