Casual Skirt

The Casual Skirt is a female armor found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. It doesn't have any hat counterpart.

Description[]

Compared to most of the other female armors in EBF5, the Casual Skirt is notable for being a relatively mundane set of casual clothing. It includes brown boots, a red tartan skirt held up by a brown leather belt and round golden buckle, a light red jacket with long sleeves and black cuffs, and a black tank top with the image of a fruit on the chest: a banana for Anna and a watermelon for Natalie.

The Casual Skirt's defenses are on the low side, but it gives a great boost to Evade and moderate boosts to Attack and Magic Attack. Its Equipment Effects improve the effect of buffing skills and Food; combined with its resistance to five of the most dangerous status effects in the game, it is well-suited for a support-focused build.

Although well-balanced, the Casual Skirt competes with the Maid Outfit and the Sami Dress for Food and buff-boosting armor, respectively; it's the only armor with both effects, but it's not as bulky as the competition and it lacks any elemental resistances. This is more worrisome for Natalie, whose low base Evade makes it harder for her to utilize the Casual Skirt's best defensive stat than Anna.

The Casual Skirt resists Stun, Syphon, Disable, Doom, and Death, becoming immune to all of them at Level 5.

Equip Remix[]

Despite being a "very regular-looking outfit," the Alt Casual Skirt has some very unique qualities. It's tied with the Alt Ninja Skirt for the best Evade of female armor; unlike the Alt Ninja Skirt, it also has modest Defence and Magic Defence to fall back on. In terms of its special effects, it empowers three types of skills: buffs, debuffs, and non-elemental attacks.

Natalie gets the most mileage from the Alt Casual Skirt's effects; she has natural (if unreliable) non-elemental skills, and its other boosts stack with those of the Alt Curly Horns and either the Alt Alchemy Set or the Alt Paper Fan for her hybrid buff/debuff build. In contrast, Anna will usually opt for the Alt Ninja Skirt or the Alt Ranger Skirt for Evade-focused builds; the former has identical Evade and superior synergy with her natural skills, while the latter loses a pinch of Evade in exchange for better defenses, a very handy status amplifier, and a useful Earth boost.

The Alt Casual Skirt resists Stagger, Confuse, Syphon, Disable, Doom, and Death. All of these become an immunity at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5[]

The Casual Skirt is found inside the topmost chest at the end of the right wing of the Grand Gallery. The chest is behind a golden block, which requires a Golden Key to unlock it.
