The Pope's Hat is a female headgear available in Epic Battle Fantasy 3 and 4. Its armor counterpart is the Pope's Dress.
Description
The Pope's Hat is a tall white hat with a red and gold trim at the bottom, and a small golden button at the center.
This sacred hat provides resistance against both Holy and Dark, and in EBF4 also protects from Weaken. It mainly boosts the wearer's Magic Defence.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4
Found in a chest behind the four-lever spike puzzle in the Temple of Godcat. Renamed from Pope Hat into Pope's Hat, it no longer boosts Defence nor MP, but its Magic Defence bonus is greatly increased. The Pope's Hat now also gives immunity to Weaken at max level.

- The Pope's Hat along with the Pope's Dress first appeared in Epic Battle Fantasy 2, being worn by an angel that resurrected the heroes after they were poisoned by the Sandworm.
